About the event
The San Floriano Committee announces the inclusion of two masterpieces by Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio, as well as a large canvas by Guercino. Also featured are works by Giambattista Tiepolo, Francesco Hayez (with two paintings) and Giovanni Fattori, as well as Giuseppe De Nittis, Pablo Picasso, and Marc Chagall. A total of 14 works come from private collections and have never before been on public display.
