About the event
With 180 works, the exhibition traces the artistic career and life of the great American artist, as well as the founding themes of his aesthetic. The iconic Campbell's Soup, Flowers and Marilyn series, along with portraits of celebrities such as Jackie Kennedy, Mohammed Ali, Grace Kelly and even Superman and Mickey Mouse, show how the artist was able to transform mass culture into timeless icons. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore two multimedia installations.
Andy Warhol. Beyond Borders is an immersive journey, designed to offer each visitor a visually and emotionally compelling experience that transcends the boundaries of time and culture, and invites them to explore the world with the same curiosity and openness that characterised Warhol himself.
